Your Website Gets Traffic But No Enquiries. Here's Why.

Traffic without conversions is an expensive hobby. The nine usual causes.

Traffic usually isn't the problem

Most businesses that come to us don't need more visitors. They need the visitors they already have to actually call. Buying more traffic to hide a conversion problem just makes the leak more expensive.

1. The page doesn't say what you do, fast

A visitor decides in seconds. If your headline is a slogan instead of a plain statement of what you do, for whom, and where — they're gone.

2. No single obvious action

Five competing calls to action is the same as none. Every page needs one job.

3. The form asks too much

Every extra field costs enquiries. Get the name, the phone number, and one line about the job. Ask the rest on the call.

4. No proof

Reviews, real photos, real credentials. Without them you're asking a stranger to trust you on faith. This is the most common gap we find.

5. It's slow

Four seconds to show anything and you've lost people who never saw your offer. Usually it's oversized images.

6. It's not built for the phone

Most local traffic is mobile and urgent. If the phone number isn't tappable without scrolling, you're losing calls.

7. No reason to act now

Not fake scarcity — just a clear, honest reason to call today. Availability this week. A free quote. A fast callback.

8. It doesn't say where you work

Someone in Rototuna wants to know you cover Rototuna. If the site doesn't say so, they'll assume you don't.

9. Nobody's measuring

If you can't see where people drop off, you're guessing.

Run the free checklist — most businesses find their biggest leak in the first ten minutes, and it's usually free to fix.
